In an advisory capacity, Capistrano sits on the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council and is a member in good standing with the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, Daniela Capistrano is a credentialed journalist and a Sundance Institute Press Inclusion Initiative alum (2024 & 2025).

Join the LGBTQ Center for a lunch conversation with Daniela “Dani” Capistrano, founder of the POC Zine Project and DCAP Media. A storyteller, a futurist, Daniela Capistrano (she/they) founded DCAP MEDIA in 2011. Through DCAP MEDIA, Dani is able to work with people creating positive change in the world.

Dani has personally navigated a variety of challenges and questions to balance their work and life. How do you know when to settle down versus how do you know when to take that big risk? During this informal gathering, Dani discusses the challenges of balancing her work and life. Registration required.
